We would all really love for you to go find a place you could be happy and would not feel the need to be a TotalTit ![]()
I was going to write something else here, but⦠I decided to post this very telling post by @dirvine. Maybe you should take a look at where weāve got to and how much still needs to be done. And if you think that a native token can be created before the network is working properly, then maybe you should try to do something about it yourself. Do you have any suggestions?

Message: Here are our current priorities that our small team is working on
- GAS Fees (this is number 1 and a huge area, the current priority call to action in the team).
- API works (improving the all dev experience)
- Stability work (back end network)
- API coverage of languages
- A huge amount of backlog of the core network, tasks that we cannot describe in simple terms, but that is a ton of work
- Sorting out data storage for IF teams
This GAS work all helps to get folk using the network and node oeprators paid for storing data. This reduces emissions as the only payment form to being almost useless.
So yes we are concerned if there is actually an issue with emissions being not fairly paid. So IFF there is a way to game it we want to know. IFF somebody gets 30% of payments but runs 30% of the network that is not a bug, IFF otherwise then it may be, however payments, while distributed will nto be perfectly distributed.
So yes this last part is a concern, but one that goes away if we get the core work done.
So rock / hard place for our small team. But we work hard and try to find time to jump in and help the community. Itās hard, but we do hard, itās tiring, but we cna maybe sleep later, but I never feel there is a reason to threaten the team by threatening the network in these early days.
So please folks, lets build this together and work on it together, we are trying very hard for very little in return. We try because this is worthwhile for us all and even more so for people beyond our wee group.
We will pull this off, we will go through hell to do so, we will be abused as we do, that is the modern world, but we will do it.
The last week of dirvineDiscord
Just something that testing spat out and I thought it was good enough to share. Obviusly a LOT of work yet to do on formatting and filtering.
As @RustSpork pointed out last night, its easy enough to get kinda the same results in Discord itself with proper use of the search filters - which is OK if you dont mind reading lots of long thin columns
and scroll down to set the preferred date range. However I think here still could be a demand for a regularly (weekly?) updated page of Davids latest thoughts and a grand running archive - but I would say that, wouldnāt I? ![]()
In any case, making what David actually said easily available is worthwhile so some of the misconceptions and downright distortions that have been thrown about these past few weeks can be easily rebutted. And those distorting can be shown up for what they areā¦
