Just a reminder of a concept/idea I had a while back:

Tribler: a model for a future app that would enable submission & search

I was thinking about how we might do search on when I remembered a decentralized torrent search app I’d tried years ago. It uses it’s own tor-fork and communicates with peers who can share torrent files. No websites, no centralized servers. It occurred to me that this could be forked and modded to use instead of (or in addition to) torrents and maybe wouldn’t even be that much work to get it done. What do you think?
