How many eth does an upload burn? Are 10 cent in eth enough for a upload or do I really have too little eth in my upload wallet? Maybe Iām just too cheap and thatās the issue with my uploads oO
Maybe Iāll sell 5 ant for eth later to ensure enough gas - thank me for dumping the price to dust laster ;D

I used 0.00004 ETH (about 9c?) for that 31M file and the ANTs didnāt even register (106159345356 nanosā¦ whatās that in real ANT money? 
)

FWIW, I tried a small debian ISO (about 600 MB) and it still struggled. 4 attempts in and still not over the line (3 from wired, 1 from wifi). So, big files are still a struggle for me at least.

Yeah, we can reproduce the ānot enough quotesā error on internal staging setups. That will be getting looked into in detail this week.

If itās so profitable for someone to run so many nodes at these prices (below $0.2/ANT) and the rewards should grow over the next few years (correct me if iām wrong), doesnāt that mean that the rewards are way too large already today?

At the moment yes.
But all these people running multiple servers will not be able to once uploads start in earnest because storage and bandwidth charges will prevent them running anywhere near that number of nodes per server.
So it will be a lot less profitable, if it is even profitable for them.

SO its a race, do the BigBoys get to drain all the projects tokens before the project gets uploads working and takes away their free money?

Nope, not really since it is like 54K tokens per day for emissions. So if 30 days its 1.62 million tokens of the 10 million allocated emissions for the first year. No I do not know how 12 months at 1.62 Million will get us to 10 million.
