You missed the point here, because that’s exactly what the wash trading accusations are about. While the Foundation’s ANT, which is for payments to nodes and people holding shares, first goes to a few specific wallets and is distributed from there, there are about 2 million ANT that do not follow this path but go directly from the Foundation’s address to the address of the entity that we have named a market maker, but as I pointed out, it could just be a good person helping us have a lot of volume traffic. That’s exactly why I started the topic with the Foundation’s accountability, to dispel these accusations.
If they had passed those 2 million ANTs through the addresses they use to send ANTs to everyone else, there would be no such accusations, because then that money could have belonged to any one of us, but this is one of the Foundation’s first transactions, clearly different from all the others, and they clearly haven’t considered how it would look for publicity in the long term.
And whether people keep quiet or not is irrelevant, because this is the blockchain and it will not disappear, if the network is successful, all such large transactions will be scrutinized for years to come.
