Atlas isn’t loading for me… is it working for others?

On windows I just downloaded the latest dweb and deleted bootstrap cache. Should there be anything else needed to get it running?

I get the error in terminal:

failed to get pointer network address 88bb5798c93aca9ff679829282ed8616a6cfca99ee87d95274a7bd3194e083efbef8376a4f9159e5dc8c348d6f87b41a - Record could not be found.

Edit: I re-downloaded dweb, and also ran the new Autonomi client exe before running dweb, and it worked, albeit very slowly from my poor internet connection

It has gone south for me too, again.

Also noting it happened as the node count increased pretty significantly.

Obviously that is just a guess, but … hmmm, if someone is adding that many nodes I would bet they are not being generous with available resources, does that screw things up for us all?

I think the hot topic of emissions needs addressed.

i also think the bigger the network the better it scales ā€˜narrative’ is dead, which also fundamentally goes against all laws of physics

The next release of dweb will include fork resolution which should increase stability for all dweb apps again

(and for people recognising I deleted messages - I didn’t do that because I think I’m wrong - it’s just that I’m annoyed by the discussion - and it has nothing to do with this topic anyway)

Yea like why network, why build any networks. Scalability is more than measuring one metric and calling quits because a bug is causing troubles is so narrow minded & short sighted. As with everything in life there is gives and takes, as long as the gives are in line with what you want and the takes are not. The art of engineering

If the network was a plane she is already airborne and has not lost a single chunk since TGE. all we are really worrying about now is airspeed and manoeuvrability.

So you are saying the plane has not lost a chunk of the wings

I am running that branch. Unless there has been further updates since I built.

I am not there in my thinking. Greedy operators running too many nodes and pushing systems into the red for large chunks of the network is detrimental in my opinion.

But that is a conversation for a different thread so I won’t continue it here.

Atlas fans (and Friends) should update dweb again following this release a few minutes ago: Dweb - web publishing, RESTful web apps, versioned data and - #299 by happybeing

I have to reload with F5 every time I go to Atlas, otherwise it gets stuck at loading.

Well if that doesn’t get all the cool kids in I don’t know what will!

I have to admit it was a bit of a shock to start with. But it’s not hideous and I’ve definitely seen worse. I realise a theme that follows the system settings might not be possible but this one is so high contrast it’s usable outside in the blazing sun!

Well there are 3 to choose from  I know cyber is a bit shocking but that was kinda the point . Standard light and dark are still there for the less adventurous.

What were you linking to there @happybeing. (if you are referring to /dweb-0then yes).
