ANT Token - Price & Trading topic

I think that may be nodes if you are running them

Just buy a huge amount of ANTs and start marketing. Profits guaranteed!

I’m not running any nodes on wifi. They are all wired to the mikrotik router.

The only autonomi traffic on the wifi is the client, which has a near immediate and direct impact on it. It is certainly the client.

I agree, that it’s not the time for firing the marketing bomb, until there are apps and the network has utility. Some say it’s better to incentivize app developers then. Perhaps true, but what are apps worth if the network is not working as intended? The situation seems to be, that team has money (throwing it at node runners), but lacks manpower to solve main network issues.

I say, redirect the emissions stream into rewards for some bounty program, where external devs (dev teams?) could try and solve issues the network has. Perhaps some experienced devs out there with fresh look could help us?

The team has said emissions are part on the original ICO/white paper agreement.

Yes, but they’ve changed the amounts and rates … and can do so again if they desire.

Offering bounties with a key focus is a good idea, and being that they need to distribute tokens, it could be done in addition to emissions rather than in lieu of them.

But who said emissions have to go to node runners? Why can’t emissions simply go anywhere else?

Just saying why it is that way. They are honouring the original agreement.

Whether that can be bent or broken is between the team, the users and the lawyers.

Great to hear that.

Client side issue looks very lovely word

How much liquidity is needed to push the price up?
Could someone buy 100.000$ without pushing the price up too much?

The Uniswap page will automatically show you how your swap will affect the price. Just enter the numbers, no need to make transaction:

Ok, that’s in the Whitepaper. We’re doomed :stuck_out_tongue:

I think Jim said emissions will only be for 50 years, light at the end of the tunnel

2075 lambo is going to be a stunner… hodl

There are 240 million ANTs for 12 years of emissions. With 25 million nodes it means each node will at average receive… 0,8 ANT every year. At current prices it’s $0,12 … How does that calculate for anyone?

Unless there are other incentives, like competition… Maybe it’s simply an attack on the network? It seems we’re a threat to someone.

Even if we stopped emissions, this would not make a difference for them.

Moreover, if majority of the network is hostile, they can simply destabilize network by turning off their nodes…

Idk what I saw about 50 years then, 12 is better I may still be able to drive then.

This all bothered me a lot a couple of weeks ago, I considered it a potential attack too. Now idk, an opportunity for those who can run huge amounts of nodes is also reasonable.

As Hunter Thompson would say, buy the ticket, take the ride.

Who knows where this is going, let’s just go with it.

We are 90% down from ATH, every high was a lower high, so this current position is no surprise to anyone who wasn’t thinking through hopium. The good news is we can’t drop too much more but yeah perception is everything and right now, perception is that this project is a nothing burger right now.
