How is looking like a plank for “only” $3000 the future?
There is no arguing that apple has released some popular products but I don’t know about this one. The cool factor is in the negative.

I don’t imagine this is anywhere near the final evolution of augmented reality. Google Glass was more limited, but smaller … and that was years ago. So it’s probably only a matter of time before the tech improves, shrinks, and reaches an affordable level.

Seems like troll pictures.
The quest headsets have the problem, that they are using IMUs, so measuring acceleration/deacceleration for position tracking. This results in the UI moving away if you’re sitting in an accelerating vehicle. Maybe there is an option to switch to camera only tracking on the apple iThingy, quest does not have that yet. Meta ancounced, they will be adding this in the future. Camera only tracking is bad because it introduces massive latency compared to IMUs.

But that is not what I find odd, it is just a big and ugly obnoxious device. Not what I would expect from Apple.

No doubt it is coming. Damn I am happy that I experienced youth and going out pre nose to a screen revolution. Where this is going is going to end up in entire disconnect sold as connection.

Been a good year or so but Solana is in the ditch again.
Despite many of these occurrences they are still a top 5 chain.
Highlights the importance of being able to pick up from where you derail, most people don’t seem to care if it breaks so long as it can restart.

To it’s credit it was a lot nicer when I initially asked if it knew of us.
Follow up questions were knowledgeable to the very latest info regarding quicnet and what is currently being worked on. Pretty impressive.
But there was some confusion about a safecoin project that seems to be on Solana. It did not mention it but provided a link to a tweet about it.

I asked both Google’s Bard and Gab.ai about SAFE … and both gave answers that had errors – especially Bard which gave a lot of info, but more info just meant more mistakes.
