Fantastic news, David.
You have no idea how glad I am to hear this.
You still need to take it easy though and don’t rush. Stress is most certainly a cancer-enabler.

So great to hear such positive new on such a horrible event as cancer. It got me thinking of Stephen Hawking who passed just before the first pictures of a black hole was shown to the world. Even if life is about the journey and not about reaching goals, it is cruel to not be given the opportunity to witness the effect of something worked on for decades. I hope the next decade will bring amazing progress with finding cancer early with something like example cancerSEEK and also some amazing progress with cancer MRNA vaccines. It is amazing how the progress has moved forward, my uncle died 2016 of similar cancer and now it seems more and more people survive. So happy you are with us and get to see what the future holds and what decades of difficult work will bring to the world.
You are someone who has overcome every adversity life has thrown your way. Your attitude has profoundly influenced the way I see humanity and life itself. Congratulations on your recovery!
Big congratulations David on winning this fight for your life. I am not surprised that you kicked cancer’s arse, given your grit and determination with developing the network. You are the reason I stayed on as an investor all those years ago. I still believe…
Maybe it is not that far fetched to think that Elon Musk might support Autonomi in the future.
A twitter clone would surely be low hanging fruit once we get the new mutable type in the API (transaction/list/tree - whichever is the name! Ha!).
Edit: graph even! autonomi/autonomi/src/client/graph.rs at main · maidsafe/autonomi · GitHub
Most definitely!
if one has 10K US Godaddy says one could buy antsi.com domain , might work as a ‘sticky easy to remember’ name for a twitter clone
Tate for PM? Wow we live in a mad world.
Elon’s afeared, real afeared. Not, he’s probably afeared of his mother though ‘The Maeve’.
Deepseek AI Assistant: ALWAYS ON Python AI Agent for Engineers that SHIP
" In this video, we’re unveiling Ada—an ALWAYS ON Personal AI Assistant that’s designed to help engineers focused on shipping code. Powered by DeepSeek V3 and local, opensource, real-time speech-to-text (STT), this version of Ada can take your productivity to the next level. Discover how leveraging an always-on compute system like Ada can supercharge your engineering workflow. We’ll dive deep into the three essential elements of a personal AI assistant:
We’ll explore the innovative ‘Scratch Pad’ pattern that gives Ada active memory, allowing for more dynamic and context-aware interactions. See firsthand how Ada executes complex commands, manages tasks, and integrates seamlessly with the Typer CLI agent to boost your productivity. Whether you’re an engineer, developer, or AI enthusiast, this video is packed with actionable insights on how to implement an always-on compute system using RealtimeSTT as the ears and DeepSeek V3 as the brain. Join me, IndyDevDan, as we peer into the world of agentic personal AI assistants and multiply your engineering productivity. Get ahead and embrace the next wave of Generative AI with personal AI assistants and transform your engineering workflow with compute that never sleeps !

@dirvine I know you mentioned things are really going to change when we can speak plainly to computers.
What time to see all this coming along.
Many ‘total recall’ moments ahead for all of us, think automated cab driver and Arnie, it did not end well.
Is this the first European bank to do so? Aside from that, I have only one other question …
When buy !!
Is it just me, or is it weird that a command server for the botnet supposedly run by China is under French control.
If a Chinese botnet, then the command servers would be in china right? And if in China, if French hackers took control of it, then the Chinese would have just shut it down (the particular server)
So either the Chinese didn’t know about a hack into one of their command control servers - which is pretty much impossible, or … I’m left to assume that it’s not the Chinese behind this and that another entity (probably the US gov.) set these up in non-US jurisdictions to perform false flag attacks.
And in this instance, some French hackers found it and then informed the US, which then would have been left in a pickle, so asked the French to shut down the whole network.
Never underestimate the proclivity of @tobbetj to blame dammed commies - (or worse!! Russians!!!) for all that he considers bad in this world. Lets not forget that his targets are either non-white or Slavs ( its the same thing in his book), his fear and angst about those who do not share his warped worldview is simple racism at its root. And they don’t come much simpler than dear little Tobias.
I never read the blabberings of our bitter little failed wannabe entrepreneur and defender of dumbocracy and so I am unfamiliar with the references, can you help me here?
But it sounds like a plausible analysis you have given above.
He just posted an Ars Technica link and didn’t give any thoughts or comments on it one way or another - I’m the one being judgy here with my follow-on post, not him.
It seems I woke the random word generator.
