so any thinking developer should be seriously involved in the development of Autonomi, and if they are not, then you have to ask yourself - why?

Firstly they likely won’t for the reason I gave above. Secondly if they don’t know about the project, then there is nothing to consider is there.

they just need to show what they can do and people will discover them on their own

Do not ask what Autonomi can do for you, ask what you can do for Autonomi.
