What is interesting is that one arm of the government is approving of methods to bypass another arm of government that mandates the ISP record and keep for 2 years all your internet & telecommunications “meta” data. That is what sites you go to, email details including subject line, telephone data, and so on. Yet VPN removes the ability to record useful info.
So the arm of government given the task of supplying good on-line safety information shows that the government wanting to destroy on-line privacy is BAD.
Ah, you see organisation, that is their get out of jail card. For you the serf, you cannot be trusted with VPN as you might use it for bad stuff. And us government ministers are trusted and use it under the government organisation banner

I will tell you what’s going on here - Powell is keeping rates high, until this big bond issue is done. Why? Because the banks are going to buy up most of these bonds and then and over the next many years, the rates will be dropped lower and lower - allowing the banks who bought these bonds to sit on a strong asset (with high yields) for years to come. This was always Powell’s plan and Trump’s persistent attacks on Powell are just a a political ploy for Trump to sound like he’s keeping the FED in check. Trump knows that rates will go down and so, by making a public scene attacking Powell now, he will be able to say later - see I got Powell to lower rates for all of you peasants - now you may praise me. Meanwhile the banksters always win.

Wikipedia has always been a cesspool of spooks and spook-adjacent people driving the propaganda of the day. There is a reason why Google (let’s be evil) always pushes Wikipedia to the top of it’s search results. I for one, refuse to use it at all. Wikipedia isn’t a true ‘source’ in the first place - if you want true sources, you need to look for firsthand reports and analysis.

I’m deep diving into various decentralized and distributed platforms. Nostr/Primal seems to be the user experience that most aligns with my vision of what I would like to see social networks on Autonomi become. To be clear, I don’t really agree with their approach with how they handle the wallet (not self custody), though the features are cool. I like the concept of ‘zaps’ for content creator payments. I also don’t like the way it connects to just a few predefined relays (to handle the large content, so specialized, that’s my guess anyway), I would rather have a global pool of nodes that users connect to. Outside the app itself, I like the idea of an ecosystem evolving around protocols and standards. We can have this too, but we need to work together:
I don’t think it would be too hard to build a bridge to Nostr with some effort. Or we could position Autonomi as the data storage solution for Nostr relays which would enable them to do more long form content like videos, images, and what not, which most relays don’t have the capacity to handle a ton of large data (all data is hosted locally on the relays). This may be a good way to access an existing and growing ecosystem without having to do everything ourselves in the meantime. Something to consider.
