Liked this post but a qualification would be that I would be quite happy if the Super AI would be like the Minds in Iain M Banks Culture Series - I still miss Iain . .

It is definitely a risk, at least to critical thinking, but much more as your post points out.
This video isn’t exactly about AI, but it is very much related to the control side of it from the puppet masters.
I highly recommend everyone watches this regardless of your political views.

Scientists view on where everything came from is very limited. The approach is this:
“give us one miracle and we will explain everything else”
The clear contradiction is that most scientists agree with Einsteins theory that energy cannot be created or destroyed. But they some how believe there was a beginning to the universe (energy created). The human mind cannot wrap it’s head around the idea that maybe the universe has always been here and always will. The mind wants a beginning, middle and end to everything… that is its own limitation.

But which universe?
maybe our universe that we can observe and infer from came into “being” as a result of events in another parallel universe(s)?
“God” is just lazy thinking with ZERO evidence, used masterfully by those preying on the ignorance of the masses. and the limitations of the human mind you have described above.
