Props to @danda for displaying part of what open source is all about.
@JimCollinson the vault UX is looking solid already! I think the current approach makes a lot of sense and I assume managing a vault from mobile will not only be ahead of the curve but also highly desired. I know you said there will be polish soon so won’t critique much there besides that (and I know this is all subjective) but I’d like to see the palate share more in common with the safenetwork.tech site (which is a masterpiece imo), I find it really expressive but a great flow. Currently the vault UI colors and some of the icon color choices seem like a real mishmash and some of the colors seemingly bleed to me. Again, it’s a WIP so just some notes as I believe have been asked for along this UI/UX journey. Not to be taken as harsh as I know how it feels when I share a song skeleton and get too much critique and I’m like, “yeah I thought of that I’m just not ‘there’ yet, it’s just a rough man sheesh”.
Will be cool to see the desktop controls in the coming months too.
The UI/UX coming down the pipeline means everything to this community and project. This is how what the brilliant devs have engineered will be able to be experienced by and teach humanity what’s achievable with a permissionless, permanent, and semantic web that can earn you money by making it more secure for everyone. All without knowing half of that. Simple, easy, and secure.
Great work @maidsafe!
