made of steel, I can handle it.
Just thought I would put it out there to avoid less steely nuts from being bruised.

Agreed although uncomfortable subject
@StephenC investigated and emails were not making it through after all.
Problem resolved
I have the grave feeling you are infiltrated by some nasty guys doing the opposite as what we expect
There is a complete testnet just about to be launched imminently.
If you’ve been hanging on for 7 years, waiting just a matter of days won’t hurt will it? Then you can see for yourself.
“congratulations on so much hard work done - with success!!”
sound familiar? Jul 20? Testnet?
So you’ll p1ss on peoples life work but hey I’ll just hang in there and profit of it like a slug more power to you
Greed is a sad and powerful thing. Enjoy looking in the mirror.
Cheer up!
Here are some positives.
There is a complete test net just about to be launched. Check out the road map. Safe Network
We have a professional and experienced community member working on marketing
We have generous donations to the bamboo fund.
We have many community members just itching to release top applications on the safenet.
All signs point to the right type of people “infiltrating” this project, the right type of people being attracted to this project.
… and check out that market price for just the pre-launch token. EUR 0.65
I hope everyone that’s been a bit too harsh on the team this year, maybe it’s lockdown fever who knows…, does give an apology on the test net release.
Constant criticism can’t be productive, like having an overbearing boss watching and questioning every character of code you write. Hope the team don’t take these to heart.
Tell us more Jim
In those 7 years, has any other team achieved anything close to what MaidSafe is working to achieve? Where are the other autonomous data networks?
If nobody else has managed to achieve the goal MaidSafe is working towards, and many consider it impossible, why would you expect it would be easy, quick, or even guaranteed to succeed within any given time frame?
Developing new tech isn’t always easy, but you can bet that the ones to make the great breakthroughs are those who keep working at it year after year after year until they eventually crack it, not those who give up because it’s hard / taking a while.
I’m looking forward to the test net to see how far things have come & how close the team are to achieving their goal
Infiltrators …
Has anyone noticed that has been happening a bit more frequently lately?
Is MaidSafe causing disturbance in the force?
Forum rules. Read them.
Do not:
Create topics/replies for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forum.
Also remember:
Avoid gratuitous negativity. Critical thinking is good; shallow cynicism, on the other hand, adds nothing of value to the community. If you have something important but negative to say, that’s fine, but say it in a respectful way.
If you have hung in for 7 years, you should be able to hang in there for another 9 months. By then we will all know whether this very high risk project has pulled it off. With very high risk also comes very high rewards if it goes to plan.
What have you wasted ? Maybe a couple of hours in grand total, not a single penny.
Please don’t be childish, there are so many issues outside, that deserve your anger…
I’m hopeful we are very close to where Ethereum was back in 14/15. I remember playing around with the CLI on Ethereum back then. I think the progress will be exponentially greater than Ethereum though so we could soon catch up and overtake in terms of functionality.
I could be wrong and I feel your pain over the last seven years. It’s always felt so close yet never materialised. I think these coming test nets will be make or break for a lot of folks with regard to continued interest and financial support.
Fingers crossed this is the beginning of continued progress built on top of the testnet.
I also don’t think you can knock Maidsafe. I’ve followed this closely over the years and the effort, honesty and communications is the best I ve seen.
I was listening to SovrynTech’s episode about NFT’s yesterday, along with some YouTube videos on them. Just to touch on the previous comment on adoption, Brian brought up that NFT’s which has such a precise technical term that wouldn’t ordinarily be so mainstream has somehow permeated pop cultures into the masses. That is pretty bizarre if you think about it. People understand a concept and description that is complex but it’s also semi familiar like old trading cards, antiques, collectibles but only digital. Not everyone agrees with the premise or valuation but they still get it and for the most part many have jumped on board.
I think the road being paved in this space will allow Safe Network to roll right into town for everyone to hop on. Adoption may be easier (though maybe not) than expected.
Thank you for the heavy work team MaidSafe! No other crypto project has gone through so many hard days, so there is no stronger team than ours!
I add the translation into Bulgarian in the first post
Privacy. Security. Freedom
the lockdown / total controll / big brother fever certainly plays it’s parts
