The issue was more the requirement to upgrade nodes immediately in order to keep receiving emissions. So on top of any abuse with nodes takedown/restart happening there was the people restarting their nodes ASAP. And then there was one person running 100’s of thousands of nodes whose servers suffered IO errors due to the huge churn happening and their nodes dropped off too.
Maybe all combined was a real problem
I was surprise that there was not the normal 2 or 3 day grace period to be given so that there was not the huge rush by people to upgrade immediately ASAP
