New and improved SAFE Network Primer

Sorry, I should have been clearer. The old link is no longer redirecting - it’s displaying something completely different - so we should either fix that or modify all the old links on the forum.

Oh yes - can you fix this @frabrunelle ?

We let that domain expire so that’s why it’s showing something else :slightly_smiling_face:

I recommend changing links in the posts. The OP of the top result in the forum for “Safe Network Primer” has the expired link which is very bad! A search for the link and edit would probably be worthwhile if it’s just a matter of editing posts as admin.

Sure, I just updated all old links to point to https://primer.safenetwork.org/ instead :+1:

We could also change the name of the topic.

The broken links and expired domains reminded me that in a different topic there was a question about what the goal of IPFS is. It is making the source of data irrelevant through content addressing.

Won’t be a problem on the Safe Network. Links will be forever.

Why they should be? You can replace it but still see the history.

Yes the link will be forever. If your link is to the item without history (version) specified then you should get the latest. If specify the version then you get that version of the article.

The Name does not expire in Safe (NRS) unlike the Name in DNS so the link won’t be broken because of expired name
