As much as I understand the annoyance, directing your (again understandable) wrath toward, myself, David or anyone else within the Maidsafe team, or indeed anyone else in this discord - people who are not in a position to affect the situation - is, at best, irrational. Noting, for the benefit of the channel - that this issue is referencing a fund raising event that happened circa 9 years ago, into the company of MaidSafe - and that the same, is already factored into the token ANT (please see white paper via official links for details, noting BTTF is part of the shareholder allocation - and that all tokens related to that have been ‘unlocked’ and available for some time). To answer you directly, Douglas - in regards to MaidSafe, we have made our position and our growing distain regarding the situation of token redemption/claiming, well known to Simon Dixon and his associates. Several members of the team, including myself, have chased BTTF numerous times, and have also requested that the token allocation BTTF were sent out by The Network last year, should be sent to The Foundation, so that The Foundation can execute the necessary (simple and standard) steps to get network tokens to the people they were intended for. To date BTTF, have largely ignored our messages - and on the occasions they have replied it is with what I would personally term as ‘non responses’. From the knowledge I have (bearing in mind this is pre-my time), the agreement for investment was structured as MaidSafe and BTTF. The BTTF service agreement and terms with investors is direct and does not involve MaidSafe, giving MaidSafe no ability to remedy the current situation without BTTF’s participation - you however know all this … thus my opening sentence.
While, I am not a lawyer, and I have no knowledge of the arrangements/agreements between BTTF and investors such as yourself, I am someone with integrity and so stating the very obvious fact that their behaviour towards you and others, over the past 12 months - as well as to us (from a professional standpoint), is wholly unacceptable, grossly incompetent and seemingly highly disingenuous. That of course, does nothing to change anything. So, with that in mind, we (MaidSafe) will continue to chase and to explore what other remedies may be at our disposal given the timeline and actions (or lack thereof) taken by BTTF since they received your token allocations. I would suggest that as your focus is this (understandably so), and not the project, the development or indeed the forward looking progress, that discord is not a useful tool for you - as it is those things that this discord is for.

Dixon is very actively crying in X about how his money was stolen from Celsius - a tweet retweeted by several people asking if he’s doing the same with the Autonomi community tokens has a real chance of triggering him, behind closed doors it’s easy to ignore what’s fair and right, but when his dirty shirts are showing he’ll think about giving us back the tokens

He lost $100 million in Celsius so it’s understandable why he wasn’t given a few thousand to integrate Ethereum tokens, it’s not understandable why he didn’t let the Foundation distribute the tokens to us…

Looking at the new fees he is introducing into his platform, things are bad, it is possible that he will go bankrupt and we will never see our tokens, that’s how I feel

again, the tokens haven’t been claimed - they don’t have the tokens - they have the NFT, meaning their financial health (good or bad) currently bares zero relevance to peoples ANT allocations. Let’s draw a line under this for now please - as there’s no new factual information available right now to change anything - our position has been made above re: MaidSafe, beyond that, actions would need to be outside this discord, as this discord doesn’t include or affect BTTF.
