But I think that has to be improved upon, because on my own example blog, I’ve typed: < a href="safe://foo.bar> in a comment, without closing the tag with < /a>.
And now, when I push on the ‘Delete’ or ‘Block’ button of that comment, instead of Deleting or Blocking, I go to that href link…

I guess the code embedding the text of the comments in the webpage doesn’t do any sanity checks :wink: So you broke the HTML on your own website this way :stuck_out_tongue:

If I’m right, then it is actually possible to cause some damage this way :wink:

Wouldnt this be a good point in time to do like a community challenge? Create a very basic forum/reddit/social stream where people can create a post and others can comment on it. I might be talking out of my ass here since I wouldnt be able to do it myself, but it doesnt seem that difficult considering the resources available now. I reckon it could be a really good learning experience as well.

Of course,

I rarely work with javascript or html (maybe more in the future), but I fixed it with a quick hack in my js/comments-tutorial.js file (safe://blog.draw): added the removeTags fu from here and placed in around comment.comment.

The proxy is no longer part of the launcher, correct? Why are the proxy instructions still on the launcher in the help section?

When will there be link to download/install the beaker browser built into the launcher?

I’m writing this on the safe beaker browser! I have to say, i wish the blog plugin was more simple to integrate with the demo template but honestly it’s totally understandable at this point as it’s for those who actually make sites. Although i’m actually having trouble even veiwing any blog comment section on any site that has the plugin!!! It just shows it as loading and never shows comments or allows me to comment. Little bummed but it could be something on my end. Some info. Running current launcher, safe beaker browser, and demo app. Still though i know it’s working for others so, sweet!!! Oh! Also hyper links are not working in my safe beaker browser. Running osx 10.11.6

Just realized that I have admin control over my blog. I am the only one that has permission to delete and/or block comments. “insert evil laugh” :smiling_imp: oh the power, so drunk with power :smiling_imp:
