All corners of the globe need this system. Long traditions of centralisation and corruption are present in different magnitudes in all countries, and only through unbiased, neutral math can we finally all transact and work together fairly as a planet 
this level of cooperation and communication has never yet been seen, and nobody knows where exactly it will take us, but I think we can all agree that it will be in the right direction

Please check out the webhooks project on Github Iām sure it can be configured to notify of certain events within a Github repository.
Webhooks could trigger RSS/Atom and be consumed in any feed reader. I basically watch my feeds in https://digg.com/reader as a Tab in chromeā¦very convenient and immediate.

Yo this is a very good Idea. Assuming (not saying you are) everyone will be aware of the beta phase, is a recipe for a torrent of confusion, complaints, and disappointment. I have on many occasions seen new members of this forum asking for the installers and other questions that have been answered extensively. Many people just want to use the software and donāt care to gather data about the project details. Attaching a very clear disclaimer to and in the launcher will help so many of us that stand on the front lines to educate new users.
Please embed an unmissable message in the launcher to clarify to new users that their data will likely be deleted and things will go wrong. Thank them for their patience and encourage them to help SAFE by populating the network with data and try breaking the software in whatever way they can imagine. Inform them that their participation will help to refine the software to a diamond like level of quality.
I dread the onslaught of complaints this forum will have to endure if this request is rejected. PLEASE!!! @nicklambert For the sake of @polpolrene and @happybeing sā sanity. They among many others will thank you for it.

Iām so excited for this next step! Iād like very much to participate as soon as the time calls for it. I was planning on using a Mac Mini with Mac OS. If there is a preferred OS I should switch to, please let me know!

Props to the person(s) involved, this will be very helpful at every stage to promote and facilitate adoption of the network by the general public

I think the explanation is given just after that statement
Some updates will apparently cause the people using the update to be on a different network to those on the older version.
Guessing that once we go live any update will not result in a ādifferentā network

Itās a nice idea @anon40790172, but I donāt think we will be able to be quite as orchestrated as this, at least not in the early days. The takedowns maybe quite irregular and at short notice. We will keep you guys in the loop every step of the way though.

This first network that will go online, will it be the real one? so any farming that is done now will earn us rewards? My plan is to seed Rasberry PIs with a 50 gig SSD all over the placeā¦ but maybe I will wait with that a little till things become a bit more stableā¦
where are we on SAFECOIN? Iāve been buying up a bit of maidsafe coins and do we have any idea how that will translate? I heard some number that there will be in total of 43 Billion SAFECOINs, will the maidsafe translate directly to SAFECOINs?

So no farming yet and no Safecoin. After the launch of the MVP, safecoin will be one of the first things to be added if things are going well.

AGAIN, you guys missed your promise, which destroyed the MAID price.

Can you link to this āpromiseā. We are trying to get an MVP out this month and the team are working hard to do so as well as community developers also helping out. So no promise and as long as we keep the teams heads down and moral high then lets hope this is possible.
Or we can kick them in the head and wonder why they do not work so hard, I am gonna stick with lets support them as itās likely to prove to be a wee bit more productive as well as morally acceptable. I of course also try and help with the code as well, I feel itās the least I can do, sometimes you have to ask yourselve āwhat did you do to helpā
