Yep. This is great solution for everyone who accrues MAID buying only small amounts at a time and do not want to leave their MAID on the exchange. Which is a wise thing to do.

Now that Cryptopia is caput, this is a good low-volume alternative to Polo.

Bitker’s withdrawal fee is 50 MAID, not 3. I just signed up and found out.
Not worth switching considering the low volume, but good as a backup.
(Edit: I’m not disputing that is was 3 MAID before.)

This is indeed what I paid as fees when I did my withdrawal. I have not tried since however. Maybe they have raised their fees since… :disappointed_relieved:

Hitbtc has actually lowered their fees :wink: , it’s now 75MAID. I know many find it a scam exchange, but I never had a problem there, no KYC problems yet, although I read all kind of worrying subjects about it, so I moved some funds to Bitker now.

Instead of complaining that there is no market on Bitker…just put some small orders on it, if more people do, more will follow

I agree with you and say ok sounds good you go first :stuck_out_tongue: I think its a kind of prisoners dilemma (Prisoner's dilemma - Wikipedia) We all win more by acting in a cooperative way but I can individually win more by letting you do the crap part and not participating until it’s liquid enough.

It’s a chicken egg problem, nothing more. You only lose by not using limit orders.

There are already sell orders, I think Bitker need buyers now. So if people have the intention to buy, just put your buy order in the book, even if you want a much lower price, or much more coins than in the sell book. It will create a market

true it might be worth it to snag some extra variance the lack of liquidity could cause. Its sorta a gamble that will happen and you will make arbitrage profits. But I mean everything is a risk when your investing in crypto :wink:
