So they would optimize to drop data they aren’t getting paid for in the hopes that it is filled with data they are getting paid for - that is data that is popular and gets lots of GET requests.

As far as I understand it, nodes are rated based on how long they have served data. It is likely that a node would suffer having to reset itself.

Looking at my ISP accounts, they are 99% garbage, and nobody cares. I see no point in make a platform that does care - as it wouldn’t even compete with what is already out there. Lots of fuss about nothing.

If accesses of data are free, how do you prevent a storage node from running a bunch of get requests from another client to get more funds?

Because they can’t know what is stored on their node, and so can’t choose what data to GET.

What’s stopping me from making an app that generates GET request for all chunks that are stored in my vault? Since I know their IDs, any GET request would end up being sent to my vault and it would earn some Safecoins in return. What am I missing?
