Out of curiosity how do you know interest in the project is growing?

Great idea. Thumbs down button like on YouTube or something.

I donā€™t know, Iā€™m making an informed guess that the the work of the Community marketing group will not be entirely in vain.

If you want to code that for Discourse, Iā€™m sure they will be delighted to receive your PR. Its not our forum software and we have lots of other stuff to do so lets not get too upset by it.
Personally, I prefer the positivism of the ā€œlikeā€ button and can live without the negativity of a thumbs-down function.

Could someone write a script that puts an ignore button next to the reply button to make this an intuitive action? We could pool a few safecoins to pay for the effort.

It should not be easy to ignore others, it should be possible.

That would be up to the maintainers of the forum software, Discourse(?) its not an internally developed forum so weā€™d need to submit a PR to them and IMHO we have other stuff to do right now.
But donā€™t let me stop you
EDIT:
And as @davidpbrown points out above, they may well have good reasons for NOT implementing this.

Let call it a troll button. And you have to use an erc20 version of safecoin to use it and the proceeds go to maidsafeā€¦ win winā€¦ lol

I guess that could incentive trolly behavior by someone unscrupulous that wanted to raise funds for Maidsafeā€¦

You are off your trolly. mate
