I think I get it. Looks like I could double spend though ? As in : maidsafe credits my safecoin wallet, and then I send the maid to an exchange ?
Anyways, this gives some good hope that we can overcome the case where fees would grow astronomic !
Its all based on a cutoff block#
The exchanges after that block# would not even accept MAID. Unless they were doggy or MAID took on a life of its own and no longer a token for exchange to safecoin. A little like a ETH and ETC where ETC took on a life of its own.
But in any case any MAID after the block# cannot be used for exchange to SAEFcoin. Only the holdings as of that block#

ty ! that makes perfect sense now. After block n°xyz, transactions are declared invalid. But Maidsafe can still read the amount of maid at my adress, and credit the safecoin wallet at the ID that I signed. clever !
