Congratulations! And great work maidsafe team. Great to see this milestone reached bringing us one step closer to the safe platform we all need. Well done.
Ayyyyyyyr we go!!
Congratulations! Well done
Downloaded ‘safe-the-planet.png’ successfully! Cool quote!
I couldn’t join as the network doesn’t need me yet.
Me, as any other community member here, have been waiting for this for long time, having a first testnet with all features and components in place to show this is possible. I’m so happy we have this now to clearly see where things need to be improved, fixed, changed, … I remember when I joined Maidsafe, I felt so proud to be able to be part of the team, I had no idea how proud I’d be to be part of this community and Maidsafe team when first fully-featured testnet gets released, …I now know, and I can really enjoy as we all do here how this feels! Congrats to absolutely everyone!
Congrats on getting this live. Can’t wait to try it later.
Question: Is there any kind of queue system based around which clients tried to join the network first? Or is it just pot luck as to which client gets the next available slot?
CONGRATULATIONS Maidsafe.
Congratulations!
Excited to see how this goes, and how it develops and evolves towards Fleming!
Great work everyone! I hope the road from here to ‘ready’ is an exciting, enjoyable, and relatively short one
This is a technology the world needs, and I reckon MaidSafe will be the ones who deliver it!
History in the making !!! I’ve been a silent lurker for the past 7 years but I MUST share my excitement now. Bravo la team MaidSafe !!! You did it !
Let’s see how this big baby walks
Guys great work! Everyone who is testing tell us how this network work? Is it really working? Is this a real thing?? Tell me please how it looks like inside the network!!
Congratulations and well done! Keep up the great work! Exciting times and needed now more than ever!
No queue , it’s just whoever is lucky enough to request to join at that time.
We could create a queue but it defeats the purpose of this anti Sybil attack measure - this is to stop someone with bad intentions from taking over the network with hundreds or thousands of nodes all joining in succession.
Perhaps for certain future testnets we could disable this? But we do need to test it in the wild to be sure it works first
Absolutely fantastic achievement. You guys must be exhausted. I think a well deserved pint (or two) is needed! Bravo!
Yes. Any quick vids of proof of life would be much appreciated for us non-techs.
Wow! It’s happening!
Incredible work Maidsafe! Thank you for all the hard work.
I see, that makes sense. Are there safeguards against huge bot farms running lots of clients constantly trying to connect, meaning that nobody else can get a look in?
Congratulations with the long awaited Testnet!
Let’s begin this journey!

I’m not the most prolific poster in the world, but thought it only right that I come out of my cave to say well done folks, really great news.
