The main update and focus has been the Client Light Network (being referred to as CLN by the guys) - the team has been somewhat full-press on this and it’s now gone into test. We are planning on its release this coming Tuesday.
Other aspects; we have continued work on NAT detection/traversal, and RPC removal, and started an early investigation into MCP server for AI access/interpretation of the Autonomi codebase.
We also began defining tests and benchmarking for the networking libraries, with a view to lighten and enhance their capabilities.
Finally, we have been working on the Product Requirement Document (PRD) for ‘Indelible’, a Service/Gateway for Larger-Scale File Uploads and have agreed that additional binding work - starting with ‘C’ - will commerce within the next two weeks.
I can add that @vphongph picked up the Issue about Pointers and the ball is back in my court, but I’ve been too busy/tired to look into it fully and only just remembered. But thank you for prodding this longstanding question.
Thanks for the update and thanks to all involved.
Looking forward to the new release and exploring the expected performance and reliabilty gains.
As @Traktion said “Indelible” sounds very interesting indeed. Will this be the secret sauce that makes the network truly competitive in the commercial backup sector?
