This is the issue, these problems we now face were not known at the start.

I agree the world is definitely in decline but I must say to think that there would be no government backlash from creating this network seems a bit naive. One of my first topics back in 2018 was about the potential threat of government to this project.

Contingency plan if "they" try to shut safe down

I’m just thinking out loud here but my biggest fear has and always will be that when “they” (governments, corporations, banks) are fully aware of what this network could possibly do to the stranglehold that they hold over the world, they will do anything in their power to stop the network from being released. Is there any sort of plan if say the uk government come up with some silly law that would make SAFE or working on SAFE illegal and tried to shutdown the lovely new office?? Or am I just wor…

What I mean is there is worse content now and government reaction is not great.

So are maidsafe taking the responsibility of trying to sort the problem of its own accord or is it more to do with the potential threat of government action?
