Enabling messaging overlay via libp2p

Hi everyone. Bit of a long shot, but since libp2p is being used, could the gossipsub feature be enabled? If the overhead is a concern it could be an opt-in feature for nodes that want to run it? Perhaps might even be fun for a test network. It could enable a ton of potential features like messaging, chat-rooms, commenting system for uploaded files etc One cool feature could be decentralized app upgrades. Since Autonomi is already using libp2p, it would be able to add the feature and get some free support from the libp2p team.
