Will be adding at minimum my PC and some Pis today.

Will be adding at minimum my PC and some Pis today.
I just downloaded the config files, started up a vault, opened the launcher, registered on the network, and got hdastwb.safenet up on it, and everything went smoothly!
So, it looks like this is still running well!
Very informative, Thank You.
Il give it a go today and pop back when it’s all sorted
hi bb,
79.78.134.73:5483 is now up…
not sure if you want to add?
rup
Excellent, and thank you! It will be in the configs and packages in ten minutes.
EDIT: Also updated the seed vault’s config and restarted it.
hi bb,
scratch that!
its running like a slug on my vm system… yuk!
so i’m adding another vps in poland, seems to work nicely for the other so seems quickest way to get another up…
ip is: 149.86.224.114
sorry to fanny around… but don’t see point in trying to run something that isn’t playing ball…
rup
arh!
didn’t think this would be an issue!!
trying to run in same data center and what pops up…
Running safe_vault v0.9.0

so back to trying to persuade 79.78.134.73 to play nice…
so much for a quick solution…
rup
OK, although I have three local vaults on my LAN. They are running the binary from a couple of days ago.
Here is a copy. Drop this into the folder:
http://91.121.173.204/safe_vault
At some point I’ll put up an archive of daily versions.
hi bb,
right…
sorted…
used a combo of the normal package latest release with your safe_vault as per your last message…
so we now have a seed running on: 149.86.224.114
supposed to take 5 minutes!!! lol…
rup
Thanks! Updated…

That’s today, probably in a few hours.
So, assuming it starts today, we will be moving the seed vault onto Testnet5 as soon as it starts (using the Testnet5 release binary, of course). community1 would probably keep running despite that but you might want to consider it to be in recess for the duration of Testnet5.
Once Testnet5 starts winding down I’ll move the seed vault back to community1, with whatever binary is current (“latest” build) at that time.
Is this directed at you guys?
These tests are very important and have been incredibly valuable, we really plead with the community to not attempt to disable the switches we have set here. This is of huge importance.
Be great if you could teach me/us to join your community network at the event. The event is all about getting beginners to those more advanced to up school their skills.
WOW!!!
BOYS…BOYS!!
Lets all play nice!!
have read through and i think this is just mixed understandings of networks and their purpose…
the official test networks are run by maidsafe and are run to the rules people like ross require for his testing
the community1 networks is for those of us and especially bluebird who mans the system near on 24 gours a day to play, learn, break and mend… it doesn’t have any direct connection with the official test though hopefully our efforts and struggles provide some info of use and also gives something for the devs to have a laugh at occasionally…
so lets chill and wait for testnet5 to go live and help if we can…

I removed several replies. some not in line with the FG others pointing that out and getting off-topic. This topic is about the community test network. Please avoid little flame wars and name calling.
Never mind, the mods almost did what I would have done anyway.
hi mate,
think bluebird may be suffering from sleep deprived hair trigger grumpiness!! LOL!
rup
god did i say that in public? lol…
bb… you know i think you are da man!
rup
Of course. Unless I had said otherwise, there is no reason for someone to come here and insinuate anything.
totally agree…
best to just ignore, save bandwidth for interesting stuff…
