Was anyone expecting a bit of a pump from Ant on this launch week?i remember the beta last may we went over a dollar ,i was a little surprised we are only 25 cent at the moment considering this historic weekš¤

I didnāt know how itād go, but expected a dump is a real possibility.
Many tokens are being released to people who effectively got them for free running nodes, so some of them will sell, given they basically got them for free / cheap.
This, on top of the low liquidity, and low demand due to the network not yet being ready for people to easily start paying to store stuff means at this point supply is overpowering demand.
But, I expect itās fairly low levels of selling. If things start to get a bit more hyped in coming weeks / months as apps come out, network improvements are brought in, and marketing keeps getting new eyes on things, the price could shoot up pretty quickly.

To add data to support this, on Bitmart, there is only 3300 ANT available before $3 price, and selling 36k ANT would dump price to $0.01.
On Ourbit, thereās under 10k ANT for sale, and on Uniswap, buying $100k worth would push the price up to $0.51.
So, overall, very low liquidity + new sellers = dumpingā¦ but itās start, and Iām ultra bullish for the medium/long term

exactly. i think my misgiving is with doing kyc multiple times with different vendors. i take to heart your reply re offramp shenanigans, especially if itās gonna be a long position and possibly years before that offramp. what are your preferred onramp providers, if i may ask? any substantive differences? donāt know why, but i kinda have my eye on sardine, probably just cuz it seems fun to give a tiny fish my money in exchange for some intangible bits in an intangible wallet somewhere out there in the aether.
