We went through a couple of months of about 1 in 20 quotes failing but there has not been a single one fail since Sunday 17th August! I think the new ant version 0.4.5 has worked its magic.

and going on until

The peak in the failures was around Thu Oct 9 21:21:22 UTC 2025
There was quite a bit of turmoil around this time. The network had got larger and then smaller again.

My Friends account won’t load for the first time since started testing, wonder if it is related.
I get a feeling that the mining whales trying to abuse the emission system by turning on and off their nodes daily, it seems they don’t care if the network survives or not, they just sell immediately and don’t care. I also get the feeling that most of the node whales trying to cheat are from the same country that always cheat in online games, China.
I believe we can’t have a network built for regular people joining with nodes for only hours, the network needs to be protected and the only way, the only language they understand, is if the node running whales lose significant amount of money every time they turn on and off the nodes.
