ANT Token - Price & Trading topic

Don’t think any of them would know how to use a shovel :joy:

Depends on how long they had been in the bar..

Perhaps the shovel was a necessary means of support not a tool for the general improvement of the immediate society.

I want to know where the shovel came from?

I’m accumulating what I can at these levels. My strategy is to add another position while prices remain low. I have strong confidence in the team and genuinely believe in the project. Like much of the community, I’m currently deep in the red, but the team’s resilience and clear vision keep me optimistic. I’m looking forward to seeing our patience and belief pay off in the end—hopefully, I won’t be proven wrong.

@Bux
To re-iterate,
are there plans to add sufficient liquidity to the ANT/USDC arbitrum pool or is team giving up on establishing a healthy market?

As i suspected, we have now shrunk from 35K USD liquidity on the buyside to just over 5K USD in less than 2 months. Basically, nobody can get out of their investment.

Nothing will stop the price to go into a death spiral if you do not have a healthy liquidity pool/marketmaker, period.

We need sufficient liquidity on both sides, to maintain our reputation as a project and for investors to be able to get in or out.

Obviously this is not true, as long as millions of nodes are online the service can be used. The majority of people have been here for a decade and personally I am ok with waiting another 10 years for the price of the token to rise. And until then a working network is the priority.

The project is around for that long in part because there has always been liquidity, now there is none.

This is a serious threat to development as i’m sure there’s lack of interest for additional funding, you don’t have much to offer other than coin.

Zero liquidity and it’s impact on the success of a project are highly correlated, you cannot neglect the issue and just focus on devving. That’s utterly stupid. It’s not like you have another 10 years.

It’s really unbelievable. Over the years you could have cashed out at $1+, at times when the network was not yet operational or far from stable.

Now that it’s pretty much stable – with a way lower max supply – we’re sitting at 4 to 5 cents. Just mind buggling…

I don’t know what the volume on the ask side of the orderbook is looking like, but to me it is clear that the price is being manipulated.

It is not mind boggling to me at all. $1 price was based on a phantasy what might be delivered when going live. $0.05 is based on what is has been delivered after “going live” and increasing the token supply more than two fold.

Markets never lie. It’s a harsh reality for some, but it is surprising to me that many seem to think any project/product can be “undervalued”. Maybe it is for you (in your subjective view), but all actors (having access to all available information) value it different.

The circulating token supply suddenly surged without an increase in demand, which seems to have impacted the market in various ways. While the internal community remains strongly confident, from an external perspective, trust in the network is still lacking, so uncertainty persists.

Unfortunately that’s not the case, you have to understand tokenomics, liquidity and market psychology.

It would make no sense for this token be higher in value compared to a few years ago, like no sense whatsoever. It’s all perfectly normal given how this project unfolded.

Can posts be flagged as containing no content and just blabla and therefore should be deleted?

People this is a price and trading topic - and even if you spread fud you should at least use some content to support it…

Just stating random stuff as facts without any arguments doesn’t make sense

It would make perfect sense for the token to be higher based on the reduced uncertainties around technical risk of whether or not the network will be feasible.

Data has been kept since beta without loss. You can load & use Atlas, stream videos, and upload files.

It’s now known to be feasible & work is now on getting a user experience that’s decent, which it seems is just a matter of time.

So, if circulating supply had remained constant, I expect price would be in line with, or higher than it was prior to the TGE.

But, massively diluting supply to some people with little / no conviction before having the clear marketable user experiences that will help create new demand had had an effect that shouldn’t be surprising.

But, maybe it’s better to have a mega-dump now so that those with conviction can totally fill their bags before the network gets up & running fully vs having the supply shock putting a dampener on things when the network is really gaining ground in terms of market traction?

One things for sure, if the network is a success long term, those who take advantage now will be greatly rewarded.
